We almost didn't build OnePoint.

Like many good ideas, OnePoint began with a conversation.

Two business owners. Two different journeys. One question we couldn't ignore.

"Why are so many business owners trying to figure it all out on their own?"

We had both spent years working alongside businesses and kept seeing the same pattern. Business owners weren't short on determination—they were short on practical support, trusted guidance and someone who genuinely cared about helping them succeed.

We realised there was an opportunity to create something different. Not another consulting business that simply delivered advice and walked away, but a business that worked alongside its clients to build stronger foundations, better systems and greater confidence.

That idea became OnePoint Business Solutions.

Today, everything we do is guided by that same belief: helping New Zealand business owners build, grow and transform better businesses through practical support, financial clarity and hands-on implementation.

Why We Exist

We built OnePoint because too many business owners were trying to do it alone.

Whether they were starting out, growing quickly, or trying to turn things around, we kept meeting business owners who simply didn't know who to ask, where to start, or what to do next.

Michelle enjoys helping business owners untangle the parts of business that often feel overwhelming. Whether it's systems, finances or the decisions that keep getting pushed aside, she's happiest bringing clarity where others see complexity.

Michelle has a knack for turning complexity into clarity and helping business owners see the practical path forward. Where others see mess, Michelle sees a business that simply needs the right structure around it to breathe again.

What she enjoys most is the moment a business owner exhales — when the noise settles, the numbers make sense, and the path forward suddenly feels possible.

Kerry Stevenson

Kerry brings calm to busy businesses. She's the person clients call when they're not quite sure who else to ask—and she always finds a way to help.

Her strengths lie in the details others overlook—organisation, relationships, follow-through and the practical support that keeps businesses running smoothly every day.

For Kerry, this work has never really been about tasks. It's about people. Making sure the business owners we work with never have to carry it all on their own.
