Our Story

We almost didn't build OnePoint.

For more than two years, OnePoint existed only as conversations between the two of us — between client meetings, over coffee, and after the days that reminded us why this work matters.

We spoke about building it many times. We sketched it out, set it aside, and returned to it again. We kept coming back to the same quiet question.

"Why are so many business owners trying to figure this all out on their own?"

The businesses were different. The industries were different. But the pattern was always the same. Business owners weren't looking for another supplier — they were looking for someone they could trust. Someone who could help them think clearly, roll up their sleeves, and genuinely care about the outcome.

Eventually we realised there would never be a perfect time to start. So we backed ourselves and built OnePoint—because we believed New Zealand business owners deserved practical support, honest advice and a trusted partner who genuinely cared about their success.

That's how OnePoint began. And it's still why we're here today.

Michelle enjoys helping business owners untangle the parts of business that often feel overwhelming. Whether it's systems, finances or the decisions that keep getting pushed aside, she's happiest bringing clarity where others see complexity.

Michelle has a knack for turning complexity into clarity and helping business owners see the practical path forward. Where others see mess, Michelle sees a business that simply needs the right structure around it to breathe again.

What she enjoys most is the moment a business owner exhales — when the noise settles, the numbers make sense, and the path forward suddenly feels possible.

Kerry brings calm to busy businesses. She's the person clients call when they're not quite sure who else to ask—and she always finds a way to help.

Her strengths lie in the details others overlook—organisation, relationships, follow-through and the practical support that keeps businesses running smoothly every day.

For Kerry, this work has never really been about tasks. It's about people. Making sure the business owners we work with never have to carry it all on their own.
